Annotation:The student, based on a reflection of his/her own work in Graphics Studio 1 and 2, sets out a strategy for solving a specific assignment and a free topic during the term. Emphasis is placed on the definition and process of solving the given issue, experimental approaches in the context of output/implementation graphic medium. The idea solution of the topic is getting elaborated and directed towards the final output in the discussion with the peer. Historical and technological aspects of the emergence and development of graphic printing of intaglio. Renowned world personalities and those of our graphic scene (Dürer, Rembrandt, Hollar and others), representatives of the 20th century. Innovations of this technique. New materials. Paints, paper, chemicals. Up-to-date information about personalities who use this graphic technique. Specific examples of print forms and graphic sheets of Czech graphic designers. Intaglio: Copper, development and engraving technique, dry needle, mezzotinta and others. Line etching into a solid cover, etching into a soft cover, etching into a fragile cover, aquatinta, etching by imprinting the cover, intaglio color printing, special methods of intaglio. Digital technologies and intaglio printing applications. Art technology modules, 2D and 3D workplace at Centre of Digital Technologies. Lectures in Graphics and Drawing specialization includes expanding and strengthening existing knowledge and skills in the field of DTP, prepress and postproduction using new devices and technologies. The Department of Graphics and Drawing builds a new workplace in 2018 - Digital Technology Centre, (abbreviation CDT) drawing on a development project. This includes: - prepress workplace with new scanning unit 3D scanner and flat panel scanner - the 2D printing workplace and related UV technologies will be upgraded, printer of 470x400 cm with a new PC workplace - cutting unit, plotter 400x300 cm with a new PC workplace - 3D printing with 200x200 cm printer with PC workplace and 100x100 cm printer with new PC workplace Up-to-date information about exhibitions, publications, catalogues, and literature in the Czech Republic and worldwide.
