| Anotation | The project aims to develop and validate an interactive educational module focused on the link between physical activity of older adults and the environment. Educational activities for older adults focusing on physical activity are quite frequent (e.g. also in U3V), but they lack comprehensiveness. However, there is little or no coverage of the environment for this population, let alone its link to physical activity. The project is situated in 3 cities (Bratislava, Košice, Ostrava) with a high degree of pollution and targets the population from these locations, which is exposed to the impact of negative environmental effects on physical performance and health. Creation of an innovative interactive educational module involves not only educators with many years of experience in the field of older adult education and a significant scientific and research background in the field, but also a wider range of practitioners and the older adult population itself. The module will be applied in practice at each of the participating institutions and will always conclude with feedback from graduates. It will then be modified to reflect the requirements of older adults as much as possible in terms of form and content. |
