Social safety
The University of Ostrava places emphasis on social safety and, through Rector's Measure No. 22/2023, regulates the rules for secure communication via electronic systems and establishes the position of Ombudsman of the University of Ostrava, for which it hereby sets out the basic rules of operation.
Social safety expresses the ideal state of an environment in which the behavior and actions of all those present are naturally guided by the principles of collegiality, integrity, equality, respect, openness, and attention to others, and where any form of undesirable behavior, intimidation, aggression, bullying, harassment, or discrimination is considered unacceptable, regardless of whether it involves students or employees.

This channel can also be used to submit questions in cases where the submitter does not know whether a specific action constitutes a violation of social safety but would like to consult on the matter.
