At the University of Ostrava, we believe that satisfied and healthy employees are the key to success. That′s why we offer 6 weeks of vacation per year (for administrative staff) and 8 weeks of vacation per year (for academic staff) so that everyone can enjoy enough rest and time for themselves and their loved ones. To this we add 5 sick days, because we know that prevention and regeneration are essential.

We also support prevention for our employees - there is a vaccination center of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava, where you can get vaccinated under the supervision of top doctors. And if a more thorough examination is needed, we offer the possibility of using magnetic resonance imaging, with an appointment within 14 days.
