Annotation:The aim of the subject is to broaden the knowledge of general microbiology and acquire deeper knowledge and overview of trends in applied microbiological disciplines applying the knowledge of microbiological sciences. Students will be acquainted with the specialization of selected microbiological branches and microbiological technologies, especially food and industrial microbiology. They will receive information on the control of microbial harmlessness of products. They will be informed about basic diagnostic methods of clinical microbiology and application of microbiology in hygienic and epidemiological practice.
