Annotation:Description: This study discipline develops the ability to make nursing diagnostics. It offers the knowledge of the taxonomy of human needs and their application in nursing. It clarifies the specific steps of nursing diagnostics, its characteristics and application for an autonomous role of a nurse. It develops in students the ability to use nursing diagnostics in accepting the bases of holistic philosophy. Objectives: The student, after the completion of this course, will be able to clarify the specific conception of nursing diagnostics oriented at human needs, to identify nursing problems of the client, to use objective methods to assess the state of need on a client's admission to nursing care and for throughout its course. The student will be able to formulate nursing diagnoses, to use modern nursing terminology for making nursing diagnostics. The student will be able to use the obtained knowledge when creating, implementing and evaluating a nursing care plan. The student will be aware of his/her responsibility in the autonomous and cooperative role.
