Annotation:Sight Reading is a complementary study subject of student´s major specialization in the framework of Instrumental Play study programme. As a potential orchestra player, the student broadens his/her range of knowledge and skills essential for a successful career in musical orchestras. Student is to get acquainted with major works of orchestral repertoire (emphasis here is laid on Baroque works - J.S. Bach, G.F. Händel, F. Geminiani etc.) and boosts his/her competence by means of special expercises for a quick orientation and prompt reaction to prima vista. Upon completion of the course the student shall demonstrate a quality rendering of selected and studied orchestral repertoire.
