Annotation:Knowledge of concepts, materials, and procedures of graphic printing techniques of intaglio, mechanical techniques /dry needle, mezzotinta/. Discerning of the techniques´ expressive means. Review of other printing techniques of intaglio, usable materials, and technological procedures. Historical outline of the techniques´ emergence and development. Introducing authors using intaglio techniques. The student is on the way of mastering the skills of graphic techniques of dry needle and mezzotinta. Technological preparation and later practical implementation of the given printing technique. Matrix preparation /layout and transfer of artwork, possibilities of processing the print mold, printing realization/. Honing engraving and printing skills to match artistic intent with that of final form. Signatures and policies of numbering graphics sheets, quantity of graphics sheets edition.
