The City of Ostrava
Students love Ostrava! 10 % of the population in Ostrava are students. This vibrant city takes special care to cultivate the public greenery and its industrial heritage makes for a dramatic backdrop in which to study with the campus spread throughout the historical city centre, European architecture, cafes and restaurants. All this provides students with a stimulating environment to contemplate the arts and sciences. It is an ideal destination for sightseeing as well! Furthermore, it is near from two mountain ranges, Beskydy and Jeseníky mountains, which provide beautiful views of the landscapes and are perfect for hiking and skiing.
