German Language and Literature (in combination with another subject, e.g. another foreign language, History, etc.).

The Department offers the Master’s degree Teaching German Language and Literature for Secondary Schools, which trains future schoolteachers. The Department also offers Master’s degrees in German Language and Literature (either as a single subject or in combination with another subject, e.g. another foreign language, History, etc. – the single-subject version can be studied either full-time or in part-distance form).

Graduates of our Master’s programmes can do a post-Master’s degree (PhDr.) or apply for our doctoral degree programme (Ph.D.), which can be studied either full-time or in part-distance form.

The Department has long-established links with numerous universities abroad via the Erasmus+ programme; every year a large number of our students spend a semester at one of our partner universities.

The Department also offers lifelong learning courses.

International students can spend one or two semesters at the Department via the Erasmus+ programme; here you can choose from a wide range of courses.
